We’d like to present “The Chase”, an extremely detailed illustration of an iconic scene from Herman Melville’s Moby Dick. This piece along with a couple others was graciously donated to the New Bedford Port Society after one of our board members, John Whalen, reached out to Sánchez. John had discovered Sánchez’s work in the New York Times back in 2017 and after some time of communication, Sánchez gifted three original pieces of his craft to the New Bedford Port Society. We are forever grateful to both John and Sánchez for cooperating to make this happen!
